Snap Action Thermal Protector
The C17AM series thermal protector (snap-action type) is sensitive to current & temperature.

The C17AM+PTC (self hold device) has a PTC element that will hold the contacts in the open position until the power is removed & the thermostat cools.

Applications
The C17AM thermal protector protects against overheating & over-current in various motors, transformers, ballasts, electronic office devices, household appliances and automotive motors.

    (according to customers requirement)
Reset temp.: see table for reset temperature
Contact capacity: DC24V/20A, AC125V/16A, AC250V/8A
Cycle Rating: up to 6,000 cycles

The metal housing is live and should be insulated. Lead wires & insulation can be supplied to your specifications.
