INSTALLATION
Owing to the small size and minimal weight of the
basic model without
mounting lugs, it is possible to attach the cutout
in-line with two conductors without any additional
fastening. Connector styles available: push-on, solder
tags, rivet, screw or crimp.
Thermal
and current-sensitive cutouts with the electrical
self-hold feature switch off when reaching the preset
temperature or current level. The switch is then held
open by a heating resistor (PTC) in parallel - the
cutout will not automatically reset while voltage
is applied. It will reset when voltage is removed
(ie the appliance
concerned
is disconnected and the cutout has cooled down).
